Cancellation
Cancellation policy.
How cancellations, date changes and refunds work for Tenerife experiences booked through Booking Excursion. Specific experiences or operators may have stricter rules — these are shown on the experience page before checkout.
1. Standard cancellation tiers
More than 48 hours before the activity start: full refund of amounts captured (we will release any active authorisation).
24 to 48 hours before: 50% refund or free rescheduling to another date within 6 months, subject to availability.
Less than 24 hours before, or no-show: no refund. We will still try to find a rescheduling option at the operator’s discretion.
2. Activity-specific terms
Some experiences (private boats, multi-day packages, large groups, third-party tickets) have stricter cancellation terms. These are stated on the experience page and in the confirmation email.
Where the operator’s policy differs from the standard tiers above, the policy shown to you at booking is the one that applies.
3. Weather or operator cancellations
If the operator cancels for reasons of weather, sea conditions, safety or operational necessity, you may choose between rescheduling at no extra cost or a full refund of amounts captured. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
4. Date changes
Date changes requested more than 48 hours before the activity are free, subject to availability for the new date. Within 48 hours they are treated as a cancellation under the tiers above.
5. How to cancel or change
Open your reservation at /reservations/ using the email used at checkout, and message us — or write directly to our customer service. The earlier you tell us, the better the chance of a free reschedule.
6. Refund processing time
Once a refund is issued, your bank or card issuer normally shows it within 5 to 10 business days. Bank processing time is outside our control.
7. Right of withdrawal
As stated in our terms, leisure services contracted for a specific date are excluded from the EU 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 103.l RDL 1/2007). The cancellation tiers above apply instead.
